Thoughts crystalising.....

Oh I love to write is how I decided to start this blog at 6.44am the other day and now I am here. So where do I start, well I will tell you what I was experimenting / playing with just half an hour ago….

So as I was cooking this morning I put on a Pam Gregory youtube interview with Veda Austin. I love Veda’s work with water and when I heard about her in January 2023 I got the nearest thing to a Petrie dish which is the lid on a mason jar for me and had a go. So you put your intention or a feeling into the water then semi freeze it.

The results were beautiful and I just loved the whole excitement of running back and forth to the freezer and checking if it was ready and trying to read the images in the light before they melted. Also the pleasure of looking through it at different backgrounds and angles to view the crystalized water to get the best view. The whole process is playful, fun and intriguing, making space for the imagination to emerge like how a snail comes out from its shell, and how its eyes slowly unravel upwards. As I viewed the water I could feel a myriad of stories in my mind taking place, just by watching the ice moving….

Today I found it to be like a card reading or the tealeaves, it felt introspective, like a window into my own soul. As it slowly melted I watched different images appearing and evolving. It felt like I was watching a real life personalised animation just for me from the universe.

Because I use a mason jar lid it creates 2 separate crystallised layers which really add to the mystique of it. The layers are so fine and there is also the water that hasn’t frozen yet which rolls around under the bottom layer as you move it, in big light catching bubbles.

Today I found myself inspired by the clear sharp images coming in and out of my vision, it took me to the places that I have prior created in my meditations and imaginings, those safe fantastical caves and beaches, those clear water lagoons with characters nearby that you know like your own reflection yet who are gone when your conscious mind tries to make further contact or to try to make them more tangible.

The water experiment presented me with an opportunity to allow the child within to follow her desire to play in the most primal simple way, finding joy and wonder in the element that we all are. I am loving all this amazing science and knowledge being unearthed from our deepest knowing and the core of Mother Earth.

 Although I have explained in my own words it is still difficult to convey the beauty that this very easy and accessible process creates without experiencing and seeing it for yourself.
